BIOGRAPHYEvan Anderson is a 17-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer from the rural Scottish Borders, creating professional-quality pop songs from his bedroom. Evan has always been crazy about the idea of making his own music, coming up with song names and album ideas before he could even write a note of music.
Over the past year, Evan has been building a strong presence on Twitter in Japan, achieving massive numbers, boasting over 1,000,000 views. This has not only attracted the attention of Japanese music-lovers but also many Japanese industry professionals; having received support from singing superstar Shuta Sueyoshi from the chart-topping supergroup AAA, but also the likes of WHITE JAM. Evan has received support from king of new Scottish music Jim Gellatly, receiving radio play on AmazingRadio, as well as having performed on UK national TV. |

MUSIC.Evan spends months trying to perfect his sound and make his tracks sound professional with only minimal, affordable equipment. "The production has become almost an instrument in its own right for me," he says. "I can use it in the most creative ways, to get a completely different sound from anyone else."
Evan uses this to create a different and atmosphere with every song. "My policy is that I should never have two songs that sound the same. I should always leave people wondering what the next song will sound like." As he continues to pave his own way into the music industry, he is hand-crafting his own sound and honing his skills as a musician, producer and performer. |
